Relationships are a great deal of topic among youths between the ages of 18 – 32 years. The question is ‘are we getting it right’? Relationship is the part of every youth, whether for date or for the fun of it. However, it’s important we know that there is a lot to consider before and during any relationship with your opposite sex. It’s important you define your relationship before entering into it. Know what you want... is it for career, spiritual, financial partnership or even for counsels. Once this is ascertain you are sure of a productive relationship devoid of sin or heartbreak.
While you venture into various relationships for whatever reason please consider the hazards and challenges attached. Remember maintaining relationship could be costly, especially when hot-button like sex, drug and fraudulent issues starts arising. There is a lot of growing/learning to do in all aspects of relationships (irrespective of age), and having a Godly guidance is essential. Read rules below and do everything within your power to apply them in their day to day relationships.
(1) Consider your age and the age of who you want to enter into any relationship with and identify where, when and how to relate with the fellow
(2) Your relationship must be a fellow Christian. (The Bible says Christians should not be yoked with unbelievers) Don’t shy away from a non Christian who wants to meet you. However NEVER allow him or her to influence you, rather bring him or her to God.
