In this column, it shall be dedicated to providing youths with counsel on their visions, especially those in schools, those out of school, pregnant youths, youths in foster care, the homeless and disabled with strong entrepreneurship skills on how to reach their peak. There are millions of youths with visions and aspiration that lack direction, structure and wherewithal to launch out great! Now whatever the big vision is, there are equals solutions to surmount the challenges therein. Challenges are perpetual especially in the life of youths who are confronted by the harsh realities of globalization. These challenges matters much and can turn what is seemingly negative into a strength.
A youth has lot of challenges! Basically, these challenges are summed up in the fight to live up to the expectations of the family, society and above all the personal style. By reason of age and maturity, youths are faced with a precarious reality. This reality dawns on them and some contemplate of crime, while very few hold on to their vision, especially when rate of employment pips on them. Poverty which has a firm grip on the African youths must be broken, which is not unconnected to youths coming up with exceptional visions like trading, SMES etc Talk of Africa and talk of extended family, family pressures rear its heads and you deal with the fact that you must perform.
Solving and overcoming these challenges are simple and precise. Accept responsibilities in good faith, don’t blame others; give them life; see more of what you can do to attain your visions. Contribute to humanity and the society, while looking up to God for your aspirations to completely materialize. To be continued…
